| 2005-02-27 I am looking for relatives of my husband's father. He visited the country in the 1950's and plans to return this spring. I have the following from his mother's outdated address book - any help would be greatly appreciated:
Torsten Persson, Narragatan 8, Vanersborg, Sweden (a cousin of Raymond Carl Johnson whose father Charles Johnson was born in Sweden and immigrated to the United States - He married a Hannah Beckstorm(Backstrom?) from Skone)
Any relatives in or near Junsella (an Aunt of Raymond died in the early 1950's and left money to Raymond -the family visited in the summer of 1951 or 1952) The aunt was quite wealthy from what I understand, had no children , and her estate was divided among neices and nephews.
?? Chullesstrom from Taby, Sweden - visited during the 1950 trip to Sweden.
Any relatives of Hanna Beckstrom(Backstrom) from Skone, Sweden - Married to Charles Johnson (Johnason?) and immigrated to the United States - lived in Chicago, then the Northern Suburbs. First child born in 1899 in Cook County, Illinois, was my father-in-law Raymond Carl Johnson. Died in the United States in 1938.
We plan to visit Sweden with other family members in May of 2005 and my husband and his sister would appreciate any information they can gather on family members. Sandra Johnson
