| 2000-11-05 I am looking for information on my greatgrandparents. Augustus Rosen and his wife Amanda. Unfortunately I don't have their birth dates. Augustus and Amanda came to New york city late 1800's as my grandmother was born in 1895 in Brooklyn? Amanda had a brother in Stockholm. Augustus painted houses for his trade, studied in Italy to learn technique. Later they moved to Merryall, Connecticut, near New Milford. Sorry I don't have more definite dates. Also I assume the spelling is correct and was not changed when they came to this country. They raised my Mother and Aunt in Merryall on or about 1920. Thank you in advance. Rosen
