| 2000-06-17 I am researching my Swedish ancestors. My great grandfather's name was GUSTAV MAURITS FRIBERG and his father's name was ANDERS MAGNUSSON FRIBERG. Gustav emmigrated to England in about 1892 where he met his wife to be AUGUSTA JOSEPHINA SETTERSTROM on the ship. They settled in England for the rest of their lives but left brothers and sisters in Sweden (around Gothenburg). Gustav was born 1862-10-12 in Goteborgs Karl Johan and he was a sailor. Augusta was born 1872-06-11 in Vastra Tunhem. Anders was born 1838-08-06 in Alin gsas he died 1897-06-30 in Goteborgs Karl Johan. The names Carolina Gustafsdotter born 1842-12-01 and Anna Maria Svensdotter born 1815-12-10 in skarstad Vastra Tunhem are also related somehow. The brothers and sister that stayed in Sweden were - JOHAN ADOLF FRIBERG, ELLEN FRIBERG, ANTON NAPOLEON FRIBERG, FRITS OSKAR FRIBERG, CARL ANDERS FRIBERG AND ROBERT HARRY FRIBERG (Robert was a typographer). He is buried in Gothenburg on the East (Ostra) cemetery. He died 1956-08-26. I would be very greatful if anyone recognised these names if they would contact me. Kathryn
