| 2000-04-04 Hi, I'm trying to find any descendants of my Grandfather, Arvid SIMONSON . WHO was born in Horleby? I think that is the name ,in the shire of Stala on the Island of Orust in Sweden,on the 18th of August 1889,His parents were Johan Simonson, and his mother was Sophia Albertina Gabrielson,we know nothing of them,we know that my Grandfather had eight other siblings,Andres Simonson,Anna,Theador,August,Hilma,Julia Carlson,Walfred and Johann. My Grandfather served on a trading ship the "Ferncliff an Oslo motor ship,and came to Australia in 1922. I can find nothing to help me find out how to write to an address for a birth certificate in English as I don't speak or understand Swedish,can anyone help me,as my mother is very interested in finding something on her Fathers family.Exuse the terrible writing but this is the first Email i've ever sent Lorraine Tebbutt
